Ostrich design

No splash faucet, conceived specially for houses with many children or without a dish washer. Its design, inspired on the ostrich way of problem solving, tries to avoid the boring job of drying drops over the tiles. I can tell it's 100% efficient on this issue.
This is I.K.E.A. (Idle Klutzy Earthy Artifacts) 7th issue.
Previous issues: #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, and #6.
(To be continued).

Spaghetti gear

Or Idle Klutzy Earthy Artifacts 6th issue.
Previous issues: #1, #2, #3, and #4, and #5.

Thematic spaghetti fork.

Middle Age styled spaghetti fork.

Renaissance styled spaghetti fork.

Twirling spaghetti fork.
Someone stole me this idea (even before I've published it!!) and made this.
But mine is much better because it can twirl clockwise or counterclockwise (for left handed people) and it has 3 speeds: fast food, gourmet and diet. Ha!

Idle Klutzy Earthy Artifacts (4th issue)

Previous issues here, here and here (but this doesn't end here).

Double handsaw, very useful for picture and door frames since it makes 2 opposite cuts at 45º from the bar... simultaneously!

Collapsible handsaw, very practical since handsaws use to be the biggest tools and can't get into the toolbox.

Twisted hammer, very useful to recycle twisted nails.

Safety pincers, specially designed to avoid any kind of pinches (to get hurt you must be a real masochist or absolutely idiot).

Wedge bolt, for an ultra strong adjustment: the harder you screw on, the better it fits.

2 way bolt, suitable for right and left handed people since you can screw it on clockwise or counterclockwise... it's up to you!
(To be continued).

Back to work

After a couple of lazy months here I am, back again to the work that really counts: creating Idle Klutzy Earthy Artifacts that will better all our lives.

"Feather Hammer", so light that even great-great-grandmother will use it.

"Disposable Hammer", very suitable for do-it-yourself emergency equipment.
Other artifacts here, here and here.

Oy comamos y bebamos...

...y cantemos y folguemos,
que mañana ayunaremos.

Now entering the kitchenware and household goods section of my alternative IKEA catalog (past entries here and here).

Here is our "Weight watching" cutlery set (first eat-all-you-can weight loosing system that really works).

And this is our "Don't drive drunk" bottle & glass set, really suitable for motels and road restaurants.

I'd hammer out a warning

DOACK #30 and 31.
Keeping on with my project of an alternative IKEA catalog here are the new hammers: the "Non Violent Hammer" (better pushing than hitting) and the "Random Hammer" (will I hit the nail or my finger?).

Qué será, será?

When I grow up (even more) I wanna be an industrial designer, so I'm trying to improve my skills. One day I'll change all the Ikea catalog. I'm sure of this.
