1001 faces

This is another drawing coming from doodles I made time ago, in this case about 2004.

These are the doodles:

I scanned the doodles, printed them bigger and traced the new version with an HB pencil.

I traced again on watercolor paper using a light box then I finished the linework and erased the pencil.

After inking:

I ended the work with some watercolors.

Some weeks ago, while I was in Croatia, I started a new pocket sketchbook.
Even if I use to change subjects and tools, this new sketchbook took suddenly some kind of "personality" that hasn't changed so far. Now I'm on page 35 (more or less in the middle) and trying to keep the continuity till the end.

Old Diary

Some days ago I found this pages in an old 2004 diary. After the oldies of the previous post, here I am again scratching he bottom of the barrel.
Not a so fertile season.

This is a particular doodles page since I tried to draw just faces. When I lost count there were more than 50 (many of them are really hidden).


These are sketches for a character I was working on in 2004...
