Heat is not the best for creativity, and so I took one of the nearest things so I must not move too many muscles or shake too much gray matter.
Last week I must go again to the dentist. I sat on the same chair of the last time and I obviously want not to draw the same motive (see this). Instead of looking in front of me I looked to the left where this plant was. (I touched the sketch with some watercolors at home).
After the plant there was nothing interesting to draw. I resigned myself to draw the fire extinguisher, and to finish my descent on boredom, I let my hand rave.
Very nice, each sketch was a load of depth and definition and the phone is outstanding.
ReplyDeleteThe three of them are fantastic!!! Miguel, realmente tienes muchísimo talento. Felicitaciones!!
ReplyDeleteWOW! Gorgeous sketches!! BELLA!! BELLA!
ReplyDeleteThese are really good. I like the bold way you used dark colors for the phone.
ReplyDeleteall sketches are great. the phone is phantastic!
ReplyDeleteWow -- these are wonderful drawings!
ReplyDeleteWow, so good again. The phone is brilliant - I love those reflections on the screen. The fire extinguisher - fantastic, it pops of the page. Your so good at this Miguel. SO good.
ReplyDeleteWow, amazing beautiful work!
ReplyDeleteAs my daughter would say: Miguel, you have some MAD skills! The reflection, the way it practically sits up off the page... I'm in awe.
ReplyDeleteBut I have to ask - is it REALLY called a Huckleberry? That cracks me up! At first I thought you were just being funny, but then I realized it might be something in the translation. The ones here are called blackberries which I suppose isn't any better, and it's not that a huckleberry isn't a real thing, but for some reason I can't explain it made me laugh.
GREAT drawing.
This phone looks better than any real phone I could hold in my hand. I much prefer to hold this one in my eye. Your work is an inspiration.
ReplyDeleteThank you all, those kinds commets are a fresh breeze in the middle of this heat wave".
ReplyDeleteJuj: I just wanted to be funny with this easy, silly joke, it's really a BlackB. But if it made you laugh, "mission accomplished!" (stealing the words again, in this case from a much worse poet, maybe "poet" is not really a good word for him, you see, my english...)
Wonderful!!! If you figure out how to paint in the pool, please let me know. The steamy southern US could use such information!
ReplyDeleteYou really know how to draw!
ReplyDeleteWow Miguel! I thought the phone was a photograph. Great sketches throughout your site. You are one awesome artist!
ReplyDeleteWow, your sketches are fantastic -the cake too! It's terrible, isn't it, when you have time to sketch but the surroundings are so boring that nothing is worth doing, but you came up with something great!
ReplyDeleteI love the plant. In the last couple of years I spent a lot of times in doctors' waiting rooms, and they all seemed to have one of these. See my flickr early pages to compare yours to mine if you want.
