Sketchbook completed between 21 december 2008 and 25 march 2009. All drawings were made in Bologna and Casalecchio. I used 3 Lamy fountain pens (extra fine, calligraphic 1 and 2 mm), 6 water brushes loaded with different watered fountain pen inks (except for the yellow that was aniline dye) and watercolors.
Your work is great fun! I enjoyed seeing the whole wonderful library. What software allowed you to demo this sketchbook?
ReplyDeleteThanks.

Thank you susan. To pst this kind of file just go to isuu.com. You must open an account, post a pdf and then embed it to ypur blog. It's very easy.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic book! I loved seeing all the sketches together---they're so fresh and colorful and lively.
ReplyDeletemiguel these are phenominal! I love how you illustrate a person with minimal lines and fantastic washes.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the isuu information. Your sketchbook fits perfect in that tool. Its good from the begining to the end.
ReplyDeleteWow, your sketches are terrific! So loose, colorful and accurate. I like the consistency of having the text mostly on one side and the color drawing mostly on the other. And your handwriting is beautiful too (although sadly I can't read a word of it). Great work.
ReplyDeletesiempre un placer de ver tus cuadernos así!
ReplyDeletethere is nothing I like better than seeing a slideshow of a whole sketchbook - makes me feel more like I have it in my hands. Thanks so much for posting! I really love your work and your people sketches are exactly the kind I want to consistently be able to draw.
