EDM #02 and #105

I started timidly to draw a lamp for the EDM challenge #02. At a certain moment my hand became intelligent and went ahead without consulting me and what must be a humble sketch of a lamp became an indoor landscape. She often behaves this unruly way but I don't know when.

For example, I don't know where she was when I tryed this scissors (obviously she held the pen but she wasn't there). I must finish the work all alone (isn't it evident?)

  5. Lucky you, to have a hand that does things on it´s own for you. And I agree with andrea, your handwriting is superb too, wish I could write like that... Great work. A real inspiration! :)

  6. como dice Andrea, you're so damn good! me encanta que no te pasas poniendo color, solo lo necesario. y las anotaciones sobre los objetos hacen el dibujo super interesante. i'm glad you joined EDM!

  8. Miguel,
To say I like your stuff is an understatement, it's great. One thing that came to mind it that your drawings look like 'memories' to me. A way that the mind's eye might see what it remembers. I especially the house with a porch and some trees. Such a great style you have.

  11. It is odd how sometimes the hand can just draw away without communication, then other times it won't do much more than hold the pen while constantly taking off in unwanted directions.

Love your interior landscape! Beautiful colors and style.

  13. Miguel I have very much enjoyed my visit to your blog. The drawing of the lamp in its setting is so just gorgeous. The vivd colors of the lamp are so nicely offset by the muted colors you've chosen for the rest of the furnishings. Beautifully executed. WOW!!
