Paisaje urbano con palo de escoba rojo

Esto es lo que se ve desde el salón de mi casa. Es una especie de pasadizo que hay entre la calle Buenos Aires (adonde da mi casa) y la Diagonal (detrás del edificio verde). El edificio alto de la izquierda (no el de los balcones sino el gris que está detrás) es la sede de La Vanguardia y la mole verde de la derecha es El Corte Inglés. La casa que se ve al fondo es la esquina de la Calle Calvet y la Travessera de Gràcia.
Hay una perspectiva muy curiosa porque nada es ortogonal. Mi casa es paralela con la casa de enfrente pero no con la Diagonal (¿de dónde le vendrá el nombre?). El edificio de El Corte Inglés forma ángulos rectos con ambas calles, lo que le hace tener una forma particular. Este cruce de líneas un tanto anómalo  atrajo mi atención sobre esta vista hace unas cuantas semanas y estaba sólo esperando un buen momento para dibujarla. Lo he hecho esta semana a lo largo de 3 días, siempre sobre las 3 de la tarde. Tener mucho tiempo te hace dibujar con mucha calma.

This is the view from my living room. It's some kind of passageway between Buenos Aires Street (just in front of the balcony) and Diagonal Avenue (behind the green building). The big building on the leftside (not the one with the balconies, but the grey one behind) is the office of La Vanguardia and the green thing on the rightside is El Corte Inglés. The house on the background is the junction between Calvet Street and Travessera de Gràcia.
There's a curious perspective because nothing is orthogonal. Mi house is parallel with the house in front but not with Diagonal Avenue (I wonder why this name?).  El Corte Inglés building forms square angles with both streets, and it's because of this that it has some particular shape. This is the reason why I have had my eye on this view for some weeks till I've had the opportunity to draw it on the las 3 days, always about 3 o'clock. To have so much time makes you draw so peacefully.
